Food Market
Our Food Market offers an abundance of healthy and wholesome food. Guests need to be residents of the Town of Greece and must provide identification and proof of residency each time they visit. Food is provided once a month by appointment only.
First-time guests are to come as walk-ins and should plan on coming from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Tuesdays, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursdays, and 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM on Saturdays. Guests need to keep appointments and be on time. Changes to appointments can be accomplished by contacting the Food Market Back Office at (585) 522-1803 or on our website here.
Our food distribution process is typically completed within an hour and includes check-in at the reception desk, an interview with Resource Connectors, and an assisted shopping experience. We wish to build relationships with our guests that can lead to support in other facets of their lives. We remain committed to serving our neighbors with food and the love of Christ.

Next steps
Our Resource Connectors greatly enjoy supporting our guests in taking the next step. At times, this next step could be ensuring each guest is scheduled to continue receiving nutritious food from our food pantry. We can also connect each of our guests to countless community resources by utilizing MyWayFinder, an excellent tool that TogetherNow provides. The Resource Connectors at the Center 4 Hope are essential to ensuring each guest can “obtain the basic needs of life with dignity and respect.”
Medical Update
from our Board Chair, Jane Shukitis
As we step into 2026, I am filled with gratitude and pride as I reflect on all that was accomplished at Center 4 Hope in 2025. Because of your generosity and commitment, our Food Pantry reached new heights, serving more individuals and families than ever before. Our fundraising efforts were equally impactful, with over $180,000 secured in grant awards from five different foundations—support that even included a beautiful cargo van to help transport food and supplies. Behind the scenes, our Board of Directors strengthened the organization by developing and implementing key policies aligned with nonprofit best practices, while our communications team launched a newly designed website and a refreshed strategy to keep our community and congregation better informed—including this very newsletter. Each of these milestones reflects a shared dedication to serving our neighbors with excellence and care.
While we celebrate these wins, we also look ahead with great hope and anticipation. There is still important work to be done, and 2026 holds exciting possibilities. We will continue to pursue new and diverse grant funding to support every facet of our mission, and we are especially encouraged by renewed momentum toward building and implementing our long-awaited medical clinic. As previously shared, Jericho Road made the difficult decision to step away from our partnership—but we trust that God has opened a new door through a developing partnership with His Branches. Their CEO and Board have expressed a strong desire to move forward with the same clinic vision and partnership model, and we are eager to see how this unfolds in the months ahead. On behalf of the Board, thank you for the time, talent, prayers, and financial support you so faithfully give. Together, we look forward to making 2026 our best year yet.
Thank you,
Jane Shukitis, Board Chair
